Part II is entitled " Sanitary Facts " and explains what is meant by night-soil, urine, rubbish, cesspools and open drains. Then comes a short description of various diseases as plague, t}'phoid, small-pox, etc. Part III gives a short account of the characters of good milk and good meat. The section on infectious diseases, the date of rash if any, incubation period and period of infectivity is excellent, and the various methods of disinfection are well detailed. We are very glad to
